Situated in delightful Devon countryside, at the gateway to Cornwall, we offer comfortable accommodation, good food and drink, roaring fires and a warm welcome.

A family run, relaxed and friendly hotel. Lifton Hall is a Grade II Listed building dating from the 17th Century that combines traditional Devon character with modern refurbishments, including wireless internet and digital TV. We have ten large and comfortable, en suite bedrooms - each individually and tastefully decorated.

We're nestled close to the market town of Tavistock and just over the border from Cornwall's ancient capital Launceston. Our location makes us an ideal base for touring much of the southwest, or if you're passing through on your way to or from Cornwall and the Scilly Isles.

We are experts in looking after large groups - creating a relaxed and informal house party atmosphere.

Walkers and cyclists are very welcome. We can even arrange collection and onward delivery of your luggage if required.

Lifton Hall is a great venue for parties, weddings and civil ceremonies. We're a popular business destination too - and offer adaptable function, conference and meeting facilities.
