Our whole team is geared up to serve you safely, look after their own safety – and to make sure that you have an enjoyable and relaxing time at Lifton Hall

HOTEL GUESTS

Book with confidence
When you book a room directly with us, you can cancel without penalty up until 48 hours before arrival.

Please contact us if you have booked via an agent, with a third-party deal or if you have to cancel within 48 hours of arrival. We can discuss the options open to you.

Please do not come if you:

  • should be isolating
  • have any of the symptoms of Covid-19
  • have been in contact with anyone who has symptoms.

Extra clean rooms
Our rooms have always been very clean, but we have enhanced our procedures. We are opening windows to let the Devon countryside air flow through and sanitising each room between guests.

Face covering
We leave  the choice whether to wear a face covering up to you and whatever you feel more comfortable with. The hotel isn’t big and busy, and everything is spaced out, so it rarely feels crowded.

Before arrival
To help make check-in quick minimising any contact, please be ready to provide:

  • names of all guests
  • card details to be used for check-out payment
  • an email address
  • car registration.

Breakfast

  • You will be asked to book a slot – this helps us to reduce contact between guests
  • Your room name will be on the table
  • We have removed the buffet element of our breakfast – everything will be provided by your server.

Evening meals or just a drink

Please let us know if you would like to book a table. We always try to feed our hotel guests (if they want) but cannot always guarantee a specific time if booked at the last minute. We also cannot always guarantee a table in the bar for pre-dinner drinks. See details under ‘Restaurant Customers’ – above right.

Check-out
To keep check-out as contactless as possible, our booking system can take payment remotely. You will be emailed on the morning of departure and can pay online. If you prefer, you can check-out with a member of the team.

QR codes are placed at entry points to the building, so you can check-in using the ‘Track and Trace app’.
