ROOMS

We have ten large bedrooms at the Lifton Hall. Each has its own character and charm.

There are two twin rooms, and eight doubles (two of which can accommodate a family of up to four). All our rooms have an en-suite bath or shower room. As well as the usual hot drink making facilities (with yummy biscuits) and a direct dial telephone; each room has a digital, flat-screen TV (that plays the radio and doubles up as an alarm clock), and a hairdryer. Nearly all our rooms now have free WiFi.

The right room

If you have trouble climbing the stairs, would rather a room away from the road, or would prefer a room with a bath rather than a shower; please ask when making your booking and we'll try to make sure you get the right room. For the comfort and safety of all our guests all of our rooms are non-smoking.

Our linen

All our beds are made with crisp, freshly laundered, white cotton sheets and pillow cases. Each bed has a duvet and extra blankets are available if you happen to feel the cold. The towels and face flannels are also white cotton. In an attempt to help protect the planet, by reducing the amount of laundry we do, we would ask that you think twice before asking for fresh towels every day.

Pets

We're very happy to have pets in the rooms as long as you let us know they're coming and they're well behaved and keep off the furniture. We'd encourage you to bring your own pet bedding where possible. We make a small charge of £5 per pet.

Luggage

If you're coming to Lifton Hall on foot or by cycle, wending your way from John O'Groats to Land's End, or just pootling about in delightful Devon, we are part of a Luggage Transfer scheme. We can arrange for your luggage to be collected and brough here for when you arrive, and then taken onward to your next detination. Please contact us for more information.
