The wines we serve at the Lifton Hall are hand-picked for their quality and value. We aim to provide a broad range of wines that are excellent just for drinking or to accompany any meal.

White wines

• Ropiteau L’Emage Sauvignon Blanc Vin de Pays de Côtes de Gascogne - France
  Delicious gooseberry notes and a crisp, dry finish.
• Nuviana Chardonnay - Spain
  A delicious creamy Chardonnay with fresh tropical fruit notes.
• Pinot Grigio Arcole Sartori - Italy
  From the top area for Pinot Grigio - wonderful purity of style in this dry white with fresh fruit flavours, a touch of spice and a light nuttiness.
• Anapai River Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough - New Zealand
  A vibrant, citrusy wine with an aroma of fresh gooseberries and packed with tropical fruit flavours.
• Chablis Domaine Jean Durup Burgundy - France
  Classic Chablis - unadulterated Chardonnay. Steely dry and crisp with long lasting flavours. A great wine.

Rosé Wines

• Pinot Grigio Blush Sartori -Italy
  Elegant and crisp, with clean summer fruit flavours and just a hint of sweetness.

Red Wines

• Humboldt Coast Merlot - Chile
  A fine blend of ripe plummy fruit and soft velvety tannins.
• Moondarra Shiraz - South East Australia
  Rich and full with ripe plums and bramble flavours and a touch of exotic spice. A soft and warm style.
• Nederburg Pinotage - South Africa
  Aromas of overripe berries, rich plum and blackcurrant carried through to the palate.
• Rioja Vina Alcorta Crianza - Spain
  Soft, ripe red with silky vanilla notes and a delicious balance of fruit and tannins.
• Château Lacroix Rouge Bordeaux Superieur - France
  The second wine of Chateau Teyssier, St. Emilion Grand Cru, this is a real joy to drink. Soft and approachable with wonderful rich Merlot fruit. 

Sparkling Wine and Champagne

  A fine mousse of bubbles and a toasty, honeyed nose in perfect balance.
