Lifton Hall Hotel
Lifton Hall has been described as one of Devon's most attractive and interesting hotels. The building is grade II listed and parts of it date back to about 1611. It is brimming with period features, traditional character and fascinating tales, reportedly including a ghost or two. We are a friendly, family run hotel and aim to make your stay in Devon as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Make an entranceThe entrance hall provides a dramatic introduction to the hotel, with its Cornish slate floor, winding staircase leading to a galleried landing, and a high ceiling supporting a fine chandelier. Lifton Hall was extended in the early 1800s by the church when gothic features were added.
We now have ten large and individual bedrooms, each offering comfortable accommodation with their own bathroom/shower room. One of our bedrooms is on the ground floor and easily reached without the need to climb stairs.
