Like its neighbour, Cornwall has loads to offer and much of it within easy reach of the Lifton Hall.

Gardens

We’re very lucky to have The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan under an hour away. Both are great attractions - Eden is probably more child friendly and has more to do indoors if the weather is poor, and Heligan is gentler and on the whole less busy - if that's what you'd prefer. There are loads of other great houses and gardens in the area too.

Sport and leisure

If you're into surfing there are some great sandy beaches in North Cornwall, that are also perfect for lazing in the sun. The coastline also lends itself to coasteering (exploring the coast from the water and the rocks) or perhaps a gentle walk along the cliff tops. But whatever your sport, it’s usually possible in Cornwall somewhere. Green Tourism is also popular across the county.

Natural Beauty

Cornwall has some amazing countryside and quaint fishing ports, and boasts 12 areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Bodmin Moor is just up the road, where you can visit the famous Jamaica Inn. Also close by are: the Camel Estuary, Pedruthen to Padstow and Pentire Point to Widemouth.

Attractions

Cornwall is bursting with some great tourist attractions, from castles to museums, historic houses to adventure parks, or galleries and wildlife sanctuaries. There’s something for everyone.
